Today was not only Christmas but it was my 26th wedding anniversary. My wife and I both had to work today. I ended up getting off early at 330 pm. She was supposed be off by 430. I called her to tell her I was off early and she said, well I picked up 3 hrs so another girl with kids could go home and be with them. She said why don't you go hunt and I'll meet you at home when I get off.

I was still sitting on a trophy tag for this place but was just planning to shoot a doe since I haven't seen a thing on camera to get excited about.
I was in stand by 4:30. At 4:55 this bad boy trotted out chasing 2 does.
