Woke up to rain and colder temps. Heading to go look for Taylor’s bear. He was shooting DRT broadhead, hit it behind the shoulder with a complete pass through. Arrow was covered in blood but they didn’t find blood on ground. Our guide said it’s not uncommon due to the fat bears have closing the hole up. Hopefully we will have a quick recovery.

Shooting out the first day has its perks. They’ve got an outdoor bathtub posted up on the edge of the woods. I won’t lie, it was awesome. Here’s a PG pic [emoji23][emoji23]

I just settled in for the evening. We actually came and baited this stand yesterday and it got hammered all the barrels were down (we stood one up for a size reference in case one comes in). Lots of sign in here it looks promising.
