lol, my uncle Hank owned a house between Cabo and la Paz and sold out because he had insurance problems after suffering 2-3 hurricane and tropical storms, moved to port Mansfield
Sold out again and moved to popular Mississippi
He is a hard head about weather & snake advice

Hmm, I'm waking up Thursday then seeing what happened overnight before loading up for a weekend trip.
How much will soak in and dry up in about 30 hours is the question.

One rain band went past and dumped some water.
Looking at the radar…….was that it ?

Were under a tornado warning and the lightning show is incredible. Raining like a whole heard of cattle pissing on the same flat rock. Just up the road was reported to have gotten a inch and a quarter in 15 minutes.

dry up here too for awhile now. I planted several weeks ago and seed laid in the dust until yesterday.

What a dud of a storm for us down south.

Over an inch here in Between Brownwood and Comanche
Planted last week. Seed Oats and some Turner seed blends.

Going to be perfect hunting weather here this weekend.

Dumped 2.5" of rain on us western McLennan County folks. Has eased off to the southeast now.
