I have been tinkering with photography for about 20 yrs. Used to love developing and manipulating 35mm. When I everything went digital, I got lost in the dust.
Trying to play catch up now....

Added a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L into the equipment list tonight.

Picked up a Canon Speedlite 580EX II flash unit several months ago for the Canon 50D.

Adobe Lightroom 3 picked up after Lightroom 3 Beta ran out (June).

Shopping around for a Canon 5D Mark II body - slightly used or new. Hovering around 2K and change right now - really want to add a full frame body into the landscape mix.

Editing software: Picasa (free version) ... I need some good software. One of these days...

Experience: I've been messing with a camera since High School and just never bothered to actually try to develop any skill. Started with a Minolta XG-1.

Favorite shots: I love shooting with natural light and prefer candid photos of people over portraits. I am just beginning to shoot landscapes and my respect for people with talent in that area is growing rapidly.
