. I think he is legal. Probably 14 inches. I sure like him.

He's close. I think he'll make 13 and might be 14 but I dont think he's over that. Most mature bucks ears are about 15 1/2 to 16 tip to tip. His outside spread doesn't touch his ear tips so take an inch off each side for beam width and your at 13 1/2 to 14 and he's still short of that since he doesn't touch on the outside. Having said all that, I'd shoot him. Definitely old enough and a good buck!

He's easily 13". Some of yall need to get past the time you read their ears in the prone position is the indicator. That's a good indication on a young deer.

An older, larger bodied buck (and I'd say this fellow is easily in that bucket) will be waaaayyy bigger than 13" at the ears in the prone position.

Look how swoll up his knees are. Old buck for sure. He’s awesome, and He’s definitely wide enough.

Yea we had a bunch of night pictures of him last year at feeders. And he appears to be doing the same thing this year.

I’ll wait for a rainy day to get where he crosses a big bottom to try to slip in and take him. He appears to be super active during rain.
