I picked up a used (looked like it had never been shot) S&W Performance Center 629 .44 mag earlier this year. Hope to draw blood with it this season! Shooting Hornady 240gr XTP. Put a Burris variable power scope on it, but its just not practical at the higher powers. I may swap it out to a straight 2x after this season once I get to use it a little more.

Ive had some success at our place.. i started out carrying a 4" model 19.. killed a pig and an axis with it. Then upgraded to a fantastic 586 6" and have put down several pigs and a coon or two or three

First pistol hunt, first pistol kill. S&W M686 with cast 158SWC from a Lyman mold pushed by Unique power at just over 1100fps. It’s a very light 357 load, but hitting them in the dome it’s plenty. Javi was shot at 23yds from a ground blind.

Here is a zebra I shot back in August with a 260 Rem TC Encore I got off TBH. The shot was about 75 yds and he ran maybe 100 before piling up. Needless to say, I am addicted to handgun hunting.
