We mailed a last check out to an employee that had quit back in April. Just got it back as undeliverable yesterday. 3 months floating around out there somewhere and somehow made it back. Seems like severe incompetence in every facility it got to. That kind of stuff starts at the top.

All shipping companies have their issues but USPS has been by far the worst since Covid hit. We shipped about 10,000 packages last year and received probably 2,000 by UPS, USPS, FedEx and DHL so we have a fair sample size to go by. Whatever you do, don't use USPS for international packages as it could take 90+ days for delivery. We had to stop offering USPS international because of it. Before covid, USPS international first class mail would take about 20-45 days and 15-30 with priority mail. What happened is USPS started shipping by barge instead of air. This means they would have to wait until they had enough mail to fill the barge before it would set sail. It could take a month or more before setting sail and then another month to get to the country it was going to and then another month to get delivered.

One thing to note is once covid hit, UPS and FedEx stopped guaranteeing Next day and second day shipments. Fedex is now Guaranteeing them again but UPS is not yet.
