Has anyone else every seen them shoot blood out of their eyes?

I did when I was a kid. My dog was harassing him and the little guy finally had enough.

I've caught many-o-toads in my live, but have never seen the blood from the eyes. I've always took care of them, handling with care. Still do. Photos and send them on they way OFF OF THE ROADS!
