Prayers up for you too! Your experience and observations are pretty much spot on; not to worry you but you sound like you've thought this out.
My biopsies (one in December and a second in February) went pretty much the same as far as not remembering them. There was a small amount of blood for a only a day or two. I wanted the Proton Beam therapy but discovered most insurance won't cover it although, Medicare will.
I couldn't afford MD Anderson's self pay and didn't want to be in "active surveillance" until Medicare took over. Fortunately, I found that I could manage the price at Loma Linda University Hospital in California and I came here yesterday for consultations. I'll start proton therapy in two weeks and the Dr. started me on hormone treatments immediately. Feel free to pm if any questions or just want to talk.
Cant repeat it often enough. If you're over 50, check your PSA number regularly.

Mike, I have followed your posts, and I know the anxiety can be high while waiting for answers. My prayers are up for you. Remember, even if you have the cancer, it is not a death sentence. It, in most cases, can be treated and whipped, so just keep the faith.
1riot1ranger, my prayers for a good resolution for you, also. You will most likely have hot flashes like a menopausal woman with the hormone therapy.
