No one can screw your stuff up like a brother-in-law…..

Well he is not my actually brother in law yet . But close enough. He borrowed one of my trailers and said it seemed like it was dragging a little odd . Welp his trailer brake controller must be wired different than mine and my dad‘s. Since I don’t use the brakes that much I just pulled it like it was . Today I tore into it to replace some wheel bearing. Soon as I took the hub off I found this disaster. One side is missing the tension adjuster and the bottom spring . The other side is missing the bottom spring . The magnetic piece was burned into a lava like rock . Wires all melted .

That's why I tell people our family discount is book rate plus 10%. Kin folk will tear some stuff up no doubt.

I have these folks locally. https://thetrailerpartsoutlet.com/co...ake-assemblies

When I have trailer brakes acting up it's cheaper and easier to just replace the whole assembly than try to fix it.

              Yeah, pretty bad.

That said, you’ve obviously never met my Mother in Law or Father in Law. Bad enough to the point that I haven’t talked to them in years.

My wife hasn’t either. That should be all you need to know.

That’s probably what I will end up doing .

This is why I don’t borrow stuff. I’m deathly afraid of being ‘that guy’ that eff’s up another man’s stuff. No thanks.
