    Looking for an App.

I’m looking for an app or any method you use to keep track of things you own and have to service so I can grab parts and pieces when out and about.
I saved my chainsaws as phone contacts, which helped a little.
Wondering how people keep track of things that are out at the lease when they run around during the week getting repair parts etc.?

You saved your chainsaws as phone contacts?!?

I have an app that I use for groceries and such. There are loads of apps out there but the one I use is called “Out of Milk”. You can make lists for different stores or whatever you want. I have lists for Lowe’s, Home Depot, Costco, HEB, etc. I also have a hunting checklist in there so I don’t forget anything when I go.

What brand smart phone do you have?

If iPhone then the Notes app is the best for this, if you use iCloud it syncs to all your other devices.

Check out Evernote. I’ve used it for 13 years and it hasn’t failed me. You can either type info, or just snap a picture with your phone. Can also store a PDF within a note.

I have my feeder timer manuals stored, so it’s easy to pull up if I forget something. All appliances, major tools, lawn equipment each have their own note, with serial number, owners manual, pictures, whatever I want to save. Very easy to find anything with a simple search.

                    And it’s free.

This, Google spreadsheet or plain Google Doc, do it all up nice on the computer and read it in your phone.

Phone app Color Note is really useful for checklists and such
