I wanted my feeder to not throw to the back so the hogs would be forced into the lighted area to feed, so I put an old towel on the back side--corn hits it and falls straight down--

Put a varmit cage on it and then #9 wire some tin around the top 1/2 of the cage to deflect the corn downward. Plus it works a load *** dinner bell for the deer. I’ve done this and it works great.

Some deer don’t like going into the feed pen. Mine throws some outside them pen and yes cows come look at it but they arnt hanging out for 20 kernels. Pigs swing by quick to.

Once the cows test the fence and know they can’t get in they leave ours alone. Heck mines just conduit hit in with a few T posts and they seem to just pass on by every time.

I actually prefer my feeder more on on the blind side of the pen. We don’t have goats. Cows haven’t been a problem with a single strand of barbed wire on the top of the panel.
Turkeys and pigs are congregated on my side of the pen.

Bend the fins down a little !
Take some of the tread off the spinner.

If you change the spinner plate, to just the cup/bowl style it will probably do what you need.

Why can’t you enlarge your pen?
