    Chevy Duromax 3.0 V6 diesel?

Let me know what your experiences with fuel economy and performance are with the Chevy 1500 3.0 V6 duromax diesel.
My fat fingers hit the red thumbs down. Please disregard.

We have one in our 2021 Suburban and the computer shows average around 28 mpg, with less than 10,000 miles.

I have a 2020 Z71 and love it. I drive a ton , with lots of starts and stops, and average around 23-24. Gets around 30 on road trips, with highway use.

Wow. Did not know you could get a duromax in a Suburban. Cool

Employee has one, says averaging 25 MPG in town. Higher on highway, close to 30

                        I have a 2021 2wd with 8500 miles…

                        I’d say I avg 27, I’ve gotten 32 on a 50 mile trip to work. Usually I can get 28-29 on highway

                          How is the power?

Was contemplating one but ended up going back to another 3/4 ton with the 6.7 power stroke.

This one with the 10 speed gets 18-20 mpg though, a huge improvement over my 17’

My only concern with a small 1/2 ton diesel is it would be underpowered pulling trailers. I don’t pull super heavy but do pull long distance at highway speeds

                              txtrophy,
mine pulls just fine, but the fuel mileage goes down pretty good with a loaded trailer. That would be my only complaint, but it's not terrible. I don't notice any lack of power pulling a heavy 16' trailer with a ranger and 4 wheeler in it.
