RP is good oil......like a lot of guys I’ve ran most of them out there and I think it’s hard to beat Mobile 1 FS. The Mobile is usually cheaper and you can find it just about anywhere so I give it the nod over RP. I did run RP in my Can-am because it’s a direct crossover to the BRP chain case oil for the transmission and Diff oils, never has any issues with the stuff. But I’ve always used Mobile for the Crank case oil.

I use Mobil 1 in the engines on my vehicles, change oil/filter every 5kmi. It's easy to remember, oil is usually in stock anywhere, and it is "good enough". I do use RP gear oil in the front and rear axles and transfer case on my Tacoma, change it every 30k. Although, any quality synthetic will do and I may end up moving to something less expensive and easier to source.

my buddy was a rep for RP
He told me its mobil one with and additive and purple dye... so take it for what its worth but it is great stuff in my opinion

I have used RP and M1 for years. Great luck with both. But, I did not think the M1 had the additives.
