Have you seen my truck sleeper conversion(another DIY thread)? That thing gets stinking hot inside and it's insulated real well. I'm trying to be able to hunt with out worry of the wind in an air tight blind.

          how about some test results?
does it work well enough to be worth doing?
how long does the cold air last?
          battery life?

Awsome job so far, keep it up.

Got the fan epoxied to the lid and letting it set. Here's a pic of the fan and exhaust set up. I've got the batteries on the fan holding it in place. It takes 20 minutes for the epoxy to set up. I'll add some "great stuff" foam around the fan to keep all the air flowing into the cooler. Tomorrow will be a full blown test. I'm going to put a thermometer in the sleeper to get a temp reading about 6ish. Then I'll put the cooler with an ice jug in it in the sleeper and see how low I can get the temp to go.

The second pic shows that I didn't glue the PVC so I can swivel the exhaust around if needed.

Good Job Clint! where do you put the batteries. Really interested in how long it will blow cool air before the jug ice melts

Had to laugh at the "full blown test" comment

                              Pretty cool idea!

I have never made one but will now after seeing this..

Would it work better with two frozen milk jugs and a 12v deep cycle marine batt?
