I've jokingly asked the boss if we could start working Saturday and Sunday, and be off Tuesday and Wednesday. Beautiful weekdays and rainy weekends. Oh well, take it while we can get it. We'll be begging for it come July through September.

Yup, no bueno. Last weekend I high tailed it as soon as it started letting up and by the time I go to the lease it was blue skys and the gobblers were going crazy. Not going to try my luck today though.

We had planned to go this past weekend and set up a couple of new blinds, top off feeders, and chase some thunder chickens. Fixed breakfast, and went to Ft. Worth with the wife instead on Saturday and built a blind platform on Sunday afternoon. We'll try it again in two weeks.
