Here's my Boyds on a build I did off of a Savage 11 action.
I was really surprised how much I liked this stock, especially for how cheap it was. I was switching out several and not liking them and picked this up as a cheap temp until I found the one I wanted and ended up just sticking with the Boyds. Bedded and inletted for CDI bottom metal. I'd definitely recommend it.

Keep 'em coming....I have 2 or 3 I'm going to put a Boyds laminate on. 1 is a pre-64 30-06 that the stock is cracking. It was my Dad's and going to my TBH son. Thinking about the thumbhole style. I'm a sucker for the laminated stocks...Gorgeous IMO!

I was going to ask the same thing. I almost bought one, but they wouldn’t let me change the recoil pad, so I went with a thumbhole instead. I’ve heard they allow recoil pad upgrades now, but haven’t looked into it, as I’m good with what I currently have.

My Savage 17 HMR, then a picture of a 6.5 Creemoor Howa I bought. I think the Savage stock might be what Body's call their coyote color, extreme thumb hole varminter stock. The Howa has a pepper colored Extreme Varminter.

Love it. I installed pillers and bedded it. Had to do some light sanding in barrel channel to get barrel completely floated. There is no rattle either all the moveable parts are tight and quite.
