Although not my best now kill, it's probably my most prized trophy. Hunted this old warrior for 3 years and had quite a few encounters but he was sooo smart! Slipped up opening day last season. Huge body deer! 215 lbs in the Hill Country is almost unheard of. Don't know why pics attached twice.

Nice 8's fellas! Both 8's on this years hit list will live another year. A few others were not so lucky.
Pic #1). This guy walked 15 yards in front of me...while I was reading a text. Dont want to go into details about what happened cuz I will get all teary eyed. Anyway, long story short, he is still out there.
Pic #2). My son was a little shaky and ended up knocking his right antler off just above the G2. He showed up last weekend and we obviously let him walk.
Pic #3) This guys backstrap was on my pit last night for dinner.
Pic #4) This 8, well he ended up hanging around too.
