Well no luck this evening, I’m thinking the heavy rain has the creek up that they cross 75 yards behind our spot and threw off their pattern. It was still a fun hunt, every time the doves flew off Weston was looking for a deer to step out. When I told Weston I was sorry we didn’t get anything he said it’s ok it’s just the first day of the season. I said that’s right we have all season!

Our Weston is one amazing kid! I guess all these years of talking to him like a person, not a child payed off. The fact of the matter stuff has really made him into an awesome human being, with a great grasp on life! He sees the positive in everything, and doesn’t let things get him down! I myself, try to be more like him, because he can find the joy in any situation.
