Penny stocks anyone

So newbie question here, what constitutes a long term hold with these penny stocks? news? speculation? past performance?

I'm no expert, But I think most penny stocks are worthless, every now and then you can find a long hold and that would be something they came up with and is going to be bought out by a bigger company. I try to buy make some money and get out, my biggest problem is I stay in to long sometimes thinking it's going to keep going up.

it was about 42 last night when i went to bed, i put a sell in at 45 for about 15% of my coins and the thing went from 43 to 48 and never stopped lol

Man wish I would of stayed in at 0.08, I can't believe it's at 0.54, I know if I buy in now it will drop to 0.30

They came out with earnings 2 wks ago with 109% revenue increase and got a new CFO but not sure while it all the sudden popped.

^^^^ This! My wife was in at $.04 and happily sold at $.06 after watching it fall to $.03. We could have bet our life savings and been retired today. Who the hell knew? NO ONE! Those that won big could afford to bet big.

If I did the math on some losers I’m holding and had bought DOGE instead...

Some of my current losers are:
MMEX
HYII
HCMC (even now)
NBRI
OGI
QBAN
Let’s say I have $2,500 total in speculative (penny)stocks at any given time.

Jan 1st DOGE was at .005, so could have technically bought 500K shares instead of these losers. Sold at today’s close that $2,500 in DOGE is now $325K...all from something that started as a joke!

In full disclosure, I own no crypto currency at all.
