Cut a small hole in the ceiling first, then a larger one, and jumped the power over there…after moving speaker wires, and taking care of the antennae wire.
Tomorrow I’ll box in around the roof with some framing, and cut the roof to put the unit on. Then gotta take the bottom plastic off to get the power wire where I want it. It’ll be a separate plug all it’s own.
Knowing how he over builds things, I totally expect a probability factor of **% that this A/C install will double as a walk-in freezer when Dale gets through with it.
I was able to chase the wire across underneath to the power pole side without having to drop the underpinning entirely. Then I brought it back up into a storage compartment, and out the wall. I’ll nail that wire down and put something over it.
Noooooooooo......not another hole in the roof.......J/K........looks great and a whole lot better than what the manufacturer would have done.....keep us posted Dale.....
