I used to have a bedroom that was my hunting room before having a kid. my wife kept her craft room, i gave up the hunting room. I still have the garage and my shop but thos are so dang messy the only thing i use them for is tool storage and my reloading bench and the garage has now been taken over with kids toys he no longer uses/too big for but we cant get rid of for some reason.
Mounts are in living room, safe is in the house etc. just nothing in one big room anymore
Our entire house is Southwest style and plenty of "critters" on the walls. "It ain't a secret" here plus my "best friend wife" is a outdoor's gal anyway.
House came with an excercise room that became the gear and trip room, so I guess it's kind of like a secret room, as nobody would suspect I'm in there.
Just installed an airtight hidden door to a secret cigar/gun library with a little single lane pistol range today in a new home. I'll get a video or some photos once the granite is in and it's all done.
Did another one a few years back that was hidden in fancy wall paneling in a long hallway that concealed a vault door and the owner had a hard time finding it at first. Every one we've ever done, the owner is so excited they have to show it to everyone, which defeats the point.
