    Bow holder in a Groundblind.

Finally got another chance to hunt with the recurve this weekend.

Been hunting treestands but came to a groundblind this am. Closest I've had a deer is about 18 yds from a tree and passed, hoping for closer.
Sitn here now, I can't find a good way to prop this awkward curve, lol. Ended up leaning it face down w top limb on a hub. No arrow nocked.
What kind of bow holder is best for a groundblind?

Deer just walked out. Gotta get set up/ready.

Rig a hook to a ceiling rod or hub so you can hang it. If it’s not too rocky the holders that push into the ground work pretty well too

I just stand my bow up against the side of the blind on my left side. I stand the arrow up on my right side. When something comes in, I pick the bow up and nock my arrow and wait for a shot opportunity to present itself.

I keep mine laying across my lap.

Same here. I haven’t found a better way to do it yet.

5-min before shooting light I go to full draw and just wait until the shot presents itself.

I tie a large loop in the end of a small rope, tie it to the top of the blind on my left, and adjust the rope so it stands the bow right where, and how I want it.

I just put the bottom limb on something on the ground (currently using an empty copenhagen can), then hook the top limb in the loop.

The bow stands right there (arrow ready), and is easy/quick/quiet to get into my hands, and into shooting position.

This is what I have in most of my ground blinds.
You can lean the top limb against the stand or the string.
                  Works very well.
