Knotty pine, all the trim and door casings will be pine. 1x4 for the base crown and door casing and I’ll rip 1x6s to fit for the windows, barn doors, that end cap ect.

DIY Cabin build

Thanks everyone
Feeing 90% myself today so I went out and finished the T&G in the bunk room, ran A/C lines and mounted the 3 minisplits.

The one is the living room is mounted on 2 pieces of tongue and groove I laid out to fit from the adjacent wall. Since the units 10” tall and 2 boards are too, it was smartest/easiest way I could leave access to the lines in case of leak when I pressure test them. The other two are installed on interior walls and the back side of those walls are still not covered.
The rest of the wood will tuck in behind and above/below nicely with a little finesse. Out side unit is wired up as well. The condensate lines will be ran into insulated 1” PVC dropped out the walls and ran over to the edge and drained outside the under pinning.

As soon as i get power I’ll pressure test, vac line sets and be ready work in the cool!
