His numbers in AAA this year have been really good in regards to walks. I’m hoping he was just amp’d up last night and will settled into his AAA groove next time out. If so he will be a welcome addition to the pen. If not back down he goes.

On a bigger note…. Hope Peña and Alvarez are ok after that collision

Another gem from our starting pitcher rotation. I bet Verlander really wanted the ball in the 9th, instead of leaving his two hit shutout in the hands of the pen. He was at 101 pitches.
