I went to a popular restaurant in Houston and ordered the seafood soup. It comes with 2 whole crabs cut in half. Everyone was eating the same. So here's my question....I keep getting mixed messages on the gills in crabs. Some say they are ok and some say they are poison and will make you sick. Everyone here was eating the gills. Im pretty sure I grew up eating them as well, but stopped when I learned that they are poisonous. So is that a myth or is there something to that?
