Bad luck all around.
I done something similar.
My tractor was parked beside n elm tree The tree was n the cow pen the tractor was outside the pen but a big limb was hanging over the tractor.
I told myself you better move that tractor in case the limb breaks. It was a long day I was tired and decided to move it the next morning. I came out in the morning and the big limb had broke.
Luckily not much damage it bent the lid to the tool box but it could have been worse.
