Do you know what I love?

I've seen several angry threads, albeit, several happy threads, so I thought I'd throw this out:

    I love:
Puppies when they lick your face
Rain softly hitting the roof on a summer night
Being half alseep in a hammock in the shade with a breeze
    Smiles

Add your own, simple thing that you love.

I love a good afternoon summer time thunder storm at my dad's house
I love how wind whistles through window screens when the windows are open

Two of my favorite from my childhood, that I still love!

The smell of rain when the breeze blows
Every morning when I leave for work my little girl (5) blowing me a kiss and yelling I Love You as I drive off...and seeing her run out the door before I can get in the driveway when I get home in the evening.

Hearing the crunch of leaves and sticks as the first group of deer come in at first light on opening morning.

How my grandmother fried yellow squash and okra, and my cousins and I would stand next to her and eat it as soon as it came out of the grease.

My mother's sweet tea. My mother's mustard potato salad. My mother's chicken friend steaks.

When I first get to the pond, and find the lure to tie on, and that feeling of needing to get it tied on more quickly so I can get it in the water.

            The country.

            Old friends.

I loved having lunch with my kids today and talking about life and fun stuff. Much better than having lunch with some co-workers who cannot stop talking about work during lunch.

I love the smell of my Momma's cooking.
I love the sound of Mother Nature waking up when in the deerstand.
I love hugs and kisses and making others smile.
I love when someone simply says the words "thank you" for what I do.
I love watching the power of our Lord work his way into people's lives & I love even more them realizing and recognizing that it's him.

Your original post made me think of this...

I love the smell of a horse in the morning and the sound of them eating at the end of the day.
I love the scent of my husband
I love the perfect shot, the place where the tides and the seasons and the turning of the earth comes together for that perfect shot, its Zen. I don't know any other way to describe it.
                        I love the sunrise
                        And cold beer!

                          A beautifully sung psalm...
                          A well written poem...
                          A good book...
                          Family...all of 'em...
                          Cool breezes...

                            Cool spring mornings
                            Cold winter days
Driving out to mom and dads old camp on the Neches River and reminiscing the days of yesteryear.
Sitting in the stand with my boy eagerly awaiting his first chance at harvesting a deer.
Walking in the house after a long day in the office and kissing my wife.
