          I can spend hours looking… and sometime I get out of my stand early just to look. I’ve found several on the surface in the past year in Mcculloch county just walking in an out from hunting.

            Most of the diagnostic features are broken off. Great material though.

              I worked at a nuclear test facility in the 80s. Before picking a location they would send in archeologists to see the number of artifacts at the site. Every point they found they would leave it there a stick a wire flag next to it. It didn’t take long for a bunch of rough necks to figure out if you see a flag you pick up a arrowhead..

                      The two at top are probably hoxie. Top right probably a worn out wilson. Two nice little scallorn birdies. A blade far right. The rest are beat up pretty bad for id

                            They are about 5 feet under the surface. I’m always amazed when we pull one out. There are tons of broke blades as well.

                                Arrowhead?? My wife found this one at our house, we live near a big creek between scurry and Ennis in Ellis county.
