I’ve got 3 coons and 3 possums so far. 520 so far. I’ve ordered some Dukes traps and I have coons getting into my chicken yard tearing my netting up, should I put the traps inside of the pen or out? Combo?

This is what I was thinking also. Plus I wouldn't put it past a chicken to stick their head in the trap to get the bait, especially if you use cat/dog food or corn.

I’ll put them outside, the aholes are climbing a tree, jumping on the roof of the henhouse, tearing the netting to keep the hawks out to get to the feeder tubes filled with grower and capped each nite. They tear them up until they get the caps off. Wife has a heart but this is pissing me off! Live trap isn’t working on this bunch!
