    Mexican Martinis

Saw the post about margaritas and don't have a recipe for those, so I thought I'd share my recipe for Mexican Martinis!

    2 shots of tequila
2 shots of sweet & sour mix
    1 shot of triple sec
    1 shot of orange juice
    1 shot of olive juice
    1/2 shot of lime juice
    pinch of salt

Mix over ice, shake, and enjoy!

If you don't like them salty you can reduce the olive juice or cut the salt. I sometimes add a little more lime juice as well. Helps to use fresh squeezed lime juice. The bottled stuff tends to give them a little bitter flavor.

Reminds me of many a happy hour at Trudy’s.

You can also sub jalapeno juice for olive juice to give it a little kick.

This recipe tastes pretty close to the ones that Trudy's has.
