It’s time!!!!!! The final leg of the grand slam.

Well, tomorrow morning starts the conclusion of my Texas grand slam. Junior and I will leave Amarillo around 5 am and head just outside of Channing to hunt antelope. We were going out tonight but it’s his high school homecoming game and apparently that’s important! I have my tag from the state and I bought one for Junior. Hopefully we can knock two down this weekend. Kind of bittersweet doing a rifle hunt on the archery opener but it’s hunting and I’m excited. Going to let the Alamo Precision 6.5 PRC do a little more work!!!!!

On a sad note, this will be my last hunt for a few weeks. I’m having neck surgery on 10/2 and will be out of commission for a while. Sorry I haven’t been around much, life gets busy!
