Wife wants to call some to inspect, I don’t think it was that bad to get panicked

Same size hit my roof and truck last week. Dented up the truck and broke the windshield. 15 yo roof is severely damaged. Call the man!

I wouldn’t panic but I would call your insurance adjuster and if they say no then a roofing contractor for a free estimate/evaluation.

I can’t count how many adjusters get on the roof, walk around and don’t write up damages. With Allstate for instance, we tell all of our customer to expect the first inspection to be denied.

If you get denied the first time, regardless of the company, always call for a reinspection.

In short, don’t take your insurance company’s paid advice. Get someone that you trust to look at it first. Insurance companies aren’t paid to pay you.
