How long do you set your timer for?

So I have a new feeder at a new spot and I may have set the run time a bit too long!

I've been told, "You have to feed to bring in the big ones!" I may have taken that advice a bit too literal!

Am I putting out too much corn?

Actual cause was a plastic barrel funnel failure. It collapsed inside the barrel forcing the cone off to one side and dumped almost 300 lbs on the ground!

Just thought the pics would be funny to post...

I had a &@$*^% @&&%^*# spin cast one time that if lightning struck within 250 miles of it, it would pop a little black reset button on the control panel and spin until empty. They finally replaced it with one that only worked 1/10th of the time. So it evens out

I’d rather have a wild game innovation unit. Lol

Where I hunt three hogs would clean that up in one night !

That sucks. I have had it happen too, at least it did not rain on it and make a bigger mess

Had a boar jump up and rip my feeder motor off. I got the same result lol

One time I bought a #1000 all season stand and fill and it dumped the entire thing in a couple days. The Timer was messing up and just spinning nonstop. I put a new one on and never had a problem again.

I dont complain much about money spent on hunting and fishing but that one actually hurt a little.

I’m stingy around 1 sec, just to keep them checking

2x/day for 3-4 seconds. Esp when corn is $12/bag.

I'll throw for a few seconds longer if it's under $10/bag

Nice deer. Looks like your method is working!

I have 2 feeders just like that. Love the style.

Our area was total desert and deer pounding corn.
Now we got a little rain / acorns and corn is piling up underneath feeders.

Turned my feeders to 1 second!
