Lol, where are all these skitzos hiding lol? How come the entire Island of Jamaica isn't full of phsycos lol.
They say marijuana potency has increased, AND.....lol. People been producing honey bee oil since forever. It test out at 95% + thc. Mental health issues are soaring, yet it mentions no other aspect of those peoples life. Did they also do meth, take a lot of prescription pills, etc.. No where does it state these people used ONLY marijuana. Written by someone who knows very little about it, and none of those studies show a correlation imo.
Also the governments of the world have been giving us these studies for a long time. Like the study that said it made white girls like black men. Or the study that said 1 hit could permanently damage the brain, add nauseam for the last few decades.
Who knows, maybe on his death bed, Willie will tell us he has been taking huge doses of Prozac for yrs to deal with his crazy
In the mean time, Ima keep it burning it down

"Almost everything you think you know about the health effects of cannabis, almost everything advocates and the media have told you for a generation, is wrong."
You could never get any pot smoker to listen to any of this...ever. It's as simple as they want to smoke (or take pills or whatever) so they only hear and believe what supports their side.

And they will be saying the same exact thing about people who say pot is bad.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I really don't think it's any worse than drinking.
they both have their bad side effects.

as far as being a 'gateway drug', meahh; idk. I tried it when I was a kid and didn't like it; just made me sleepy.

I wonder if the connection of psychosis to pot uses is really causal? In other words does smoking weed really cause psychosis or do they smoke weed because they already a little crazy and the weed changes the way they feel.

But it did provide some insight to my schizophrenic cousin that scored a 1400something on his SAT while completely baked

I think if weed really caused widespread psychosis, there would be a lot more psychos running around. More than there is already. The percentage of the population who smoke it is quite substantial. I never understood the attraction but if people want to get high or ease their troubles even temporarily, They will find a way. Booze, weed, LSD, glue sniffing, whatever, mind-altering substances have been around since mankind discovered fire.

I am for 100% freedom and personal accountability. But since we don't have much of that I won't support just one side.

Make people personally responsible for themselves and then I say you can do all the drugs you want. Or jump off a bridge or whatever.

Regarding the article, they confuse cause and effect. If they surveyed the 300 felons asking how how many drank milk as a child and Coke as a teen could the propose that milk caused their criminal behavior?

There are millions of people who smoke cannabis and they don’t become psychotic.

BTW, it’s legal in CA and I’ve not read one story of a traffic fatality or a crime resulting from cannabis.

                            Interesting.

One said +3%, the other no difference in collision rates.

How many were cited for driving under the influence of cannabis?

The funny part is CA expected a windfall in tax money, which is running about 1/3 or less of their anticipated amount. The socialists running the state created 3, new government entities to regulate and monitor it which raised the legal price something like 5x what it costs in Colorado- or on the black market here.

I believe like you said, no fatalities?

You could probably look up 10 different sites all 10 would have a different %.
