I have accumulated several lenses over the last five years or so and am now thinking I need two or three more. Here is what I have so far:
14-24mm f2.8
24-70mm f2.8
50mm f1.4G
28-300mm f3.5-5.6
Next purchase will be the 70-200mm f2.8, I've bene wanting this lens for a long time, really looking forward to getting this.
I'm trying to decide which lens to get beyond this. Wildlife photography, birds, deer, etc.
I've spent some time looking and am leaning towards the 300mm f2.8. I would like to stay with the largest aperture possible for low light conditions, first light/late evenings. I can make one big purchase per year, I realize the cost of this lens is pretty high, but I'm wondering if I need it or should go with another lens like the 80-400mm f4.5-5.6?
I plan to rent a few lenses and try them out and see which I like, but was hoping for some feedback from some of you that may already be shooting these larger telephoto lenses.
I'm shooting with a D810 body.
Thanks for any feed back, I appreciate it.
