I do not consider non working summer jobs, $100 handshakes, meal and bar tabs getting picked up, etc to be cheating. Players today get gear, gloves, etc from schools and it is a loose interpretation of the rules and typically comes from a "player" and not the school itself. For example, players and families can "check out" a jacket if they are on campus for a visit, but supposed to turn that back in at the end of the game. I am taking about the $50K - $250K for a high school kid to attend a certain school in what I classify as cheating.

Again, Texas is not above it.

I've got more recruiting stories that involve TCU than probably any other school lol Had quite a few good buddies or family friends play there over the years. Patterson been cheating a long long time Quite a few UT stories too from players & tutors. Everyone pays recruits, it's no big deal.

I don’t get invested in kids that aren’t in the current signing period, but to grab the top player in Texas for the 2023 class will peak my interest. Now back to the 22 class.

Great kid and talent. I’m surprised he’s committed early, he and his family have really been enjoying the process and talking boomer ever since they offered, hope he doesn’t change his mind.
