Well, the big boy never showed up this morning, and I was down to basically my last sit. I went ahead and dropped the hammer on the little slick 8 that I’d passed on constantly. He came in about right after the feeder spun and watched him for an hour along with 2 or 3 other little bucks and a half dozen does and fawns/yearlings. He stayed around with a yearling doe after everything else left, and I decided that since we came for hang out with the family and kill a deer that I should get busy, because I hadn’t done either. My boy approved [emoji16].
