Hahahaha....no sir.....We cut the head off and I had it euroed. Yotes had the body cleaned up in a day. He was just too dang big to get to the truck from where we were at. I was a guest with Fishndude at his and elliscountyhog's place on the Trinity.

FND, said I got this good sized pig I want to shoot. He put me in an old delapidated barn on the ground in a chair 20 yards from that feeder. I get all set up and he sends me that feeder picture. "Oh by the way here is a pic of him. You'll know its him when he steps out".... I'm like that's a **** grizzly and I'm sitting on the ground at 15-20 yards with no blind protection. All that said, he came in late and after dark and after 20 minutes of him moving in and out, I made a good shot. We found him dead at 40 yards.

Also, any special considerations when using a bow on hogs?
Fishndude has killed a bunch of hogs and weighed some big ones in teh mid to upper 200s. He said if he'd seen a 300 lb hog, this was one and he doesn't use that number at all.. It took all we could to get him up on that log for pics and I'm a real big ol boy. I just say 290...

Only considerations .....shoot to kill....take a pistol and a good light when tracking ! Don't wound em... I regurgitated that from FND and Skinny..

Never weighed. This young man shot it with 243. I tracked it and bayed him. Shot him 5 more times and he never fell. I took the gun and last bullet and point blanked him in the head. I shook for an hour. We couldn’t budge him with two healthy grown men and too much water to get anything to drag out. He would have been close to 300 +\-

Dropped my jaw with those. Scale story cracked me up. Where were those? Congrats on some serious trophies.
