It was really unbelievable. If you watch the video (which is on my phone but cant figure out how to post it) you think dang thats a dead deer. Then you watch the video of the second shot two weeks later and you're like aww heck he's dead. Then two weeks later he shows up again and well mind blown.

Was talking with Roy Hindes about this buck and hes got stories of bucks with double lung bullet holes still walking around and being taken the following year. Crazy how resilient these animals can be.

It has been my experience that the will to survive of a south Texas mature buck is second to none. I have seen deer shot that were bang flops and then get up and run to never be found. All while leaving a blood trail you could follow blindfolded. Amazing animals to say the least. Thanks for sharing.
