We had a nice buck come out at last light. He was real borderline (antler restriction county and age) but I think he needed another year. The little hunter did awesome overall and she had a blast! She watched the deer walk through and graze some before he walked off. I believe she might be a stone cold killer in the future. She put her ear protection on in preparation for the shot and whispered “Ok Daddy, 3, 2, 1, shoot!”

I couldn’t be happier.

It was a slow couple of sits compared to the other lease. But it was well worth it. My daughter had a great time and is ready to go back. This summer we will get her tuned up for her first hunt where she’s shooting. This will be a weekend I won’t soon forget.
