Is the doe wet or is her head have a little bit of red fur?

I have a doe at my place in Houston county that looks like that, with the red head.

Finally got a weather forecast to hunt my target! Got up tree at 4:15 with S-SE @ 10mph..... that completely stopped at deer 30..... ravine behind me gave me hope, but false. Thermals were 100% WRONG. Before I could plan an exit at prime time a spike shows up. He never looked up but had me pegged standing dead S of me with ozone. Milk weed was right on him... cue the snot blowing. As soon as he was clear I hooked bow on rope... looked up and another spike and doe walked in. They knew I was there too. After everyone was out of site I got out of there. Sadly I don’t think that buck is huntable at all in that area... probably why he’s there.

I may go hunt Lola’s 8 “Big Jim” and let her go after the “Main Event”. I can get into a shooting situation with a gun easily.... just not a bow. Both are 7.5 yo bucks we have lots of history with...... time to back up and regroup

Had four does come by about 6pm. Wind was right, thought my stand was in a perfect spot, then a big doe came straight at me, caught my head turning to her and walked down hill before winding me. Gonna try a new spot in the morning and see what shows up.

I lied on that measurement. Here is what I got being very picky. Using paracord to get the curves then putting it to a steel tape to get measurements. I feel like this is accurate but again, I'll measure when I get home.
