Clarence Howard Ellis was 91 years old. He was a WW2 Veteran.
He lived a full life and was grateful for ever day. He loved fishing for white bass (sand bass) as he called them, stripers and hybrids. His greatest catch was my Mom, whom he loved dearly.
He was also a fisher of men. Loved leading others to Christ. His favorite book in the Bible was Romans. He was known at the nursing home as “Mister Romans”as he continued reaching out to others.
I will miss him dearly but am comforted knowing he is with his Lord and Maker.
Bless you Dad and take Brad fishing if you haven’t already!
Prayers for you and your family sir.

Sounds like your Dad led a full life. Amazing Christian, husband, father and grandfather. Something we should all strive to achieve. Prayers outbound to the Ellis family.

Losing your dad is so hard. I did the same just 4 yrs ago. It’s not something we get over quickly. I still reach for the phone to call him. Having a good dad translates into being a good dad and you and your kids will appreciate it forever. You have my prayers.
