gotta love it. It's like TFO, I sent them an email a couple years ago after I broke my fly rod closing the tailgate and asked them if I could but a new end piece. They said "no, we don't care why it broke it's under warranty no matter what"

This is good to hear also, I just bought one.

Looks like I’ll be saving up to purchase a Benchmade knife in the future.

Guess I need to send mine in...a worker of mine broke mine in a similar fashion years ago and I just had it ground down. Slightly shorter blade now, but works just fine!
