A friend and I went on a dig near the the north prong of the Medina river, I believe the creek may have been called Buckalew Creek. The drive was about 45 minutes after we left pavement and there was no cell service. There was sifting tables set up and a skid steer would bring a load of "midden" dirt and dump it on the table, then you would sift through the dirt looking for points.

I found a real nice blade, and a few others.

I have a book for Texas points and tried to match up what I found. I also found a bird point but could not figure out when it was made.

On the way way out we was drinking a few cold beers and talking about what a good time we had, I noticed a PVC pipe running along a cliff wall. I got to looking at it and followed it backwards, them folks done found them a spring and piped it to there house.
