Since I was in hunt mode I drove to where I plan on Lola hunting next weekend. Figured I’d count deer and might shoot a hog.... wind E there... climbed down and went home. Plus it was drizzling good enough to get wet. For a set I didn’t really want to be shooting up in the first place.

I’ll see if I get a break in weather and wind this week. That one stand is exactly where it needs to be.... but the wind SUCKS there... and it’s flat. I’m preaching right now, milk weed will change to way you hunt the wind. It ain’t always what you feel.... oh, and the gimmicks.... yea they are gimmicks

[emoji1318][emoji1318][emoji1318] truth. This is my first year using it and it helps connect the dots as to how deer move through an area.

      Little info on the milkweed?
The areas I hunt the wind swirls 90% of the time.
I keep a feather hung up in my tree to help see wind dorection.

I think its for scent control.

I have never used it, but think its a DIY thing.

Some people sell it online if you can’t find it. I know the hunting public does. Milk weed shows you where your thermals are going and where your wind is going when the wind isn’t blowing much.

                              Lol.

Dont need to look any tougher while sitting behind that buck and holding his head up.

Lol. Congrats to him!!! I always get a kick out of the intense “I have done this a million times before” look on young successful hunters faces.
