I meant reach the back because I think about the way the lid hinges up, if smaller things slid toward the cab end, without drawers they could be a hassle to get to.

Roll on stuff dry time is approx two hours. Why no tonneau cover? Because I don't want bed completely covered. Past vehicles I have put camper shells on, and as nice as they were I did not want to go that route again. If something rolls to back I'll just have to get in there and get it....no smart answer for that question.

Sound legit to me. I've only had one need cover and wasn't a huge fan but didn't hate it. Just curious as to your reasoning for a bed box. Looks good
