7 X 57 mauser.... keep it or let it go

I'm considering thinning my Ruger #1's and am looking at selling my 7 X 57 Mauser. I have five Ruger #1's (45/70, 30.06, 7 X 57, 25.06 & 300 win mag). I want to do some stuff to my jeep and mama says I need to sell a toy. Any thoughts on why I should keep the 7 X 57?

The only reason to sell a gun is to buy another, right?

So what other gun are you looking at?

I have more than enough firearms. As I stated, I’m doing some upgrades to my Jeep and thus thinning the herd.

With the calibers you own, I would sell the 30-06, but that's just me.....

Let JLivi have it, if not him me. It's a great gun not to use occasionally. I have a 4X on mine and it's going to the woods this year. :-)

Keep it and sell one of the other ones.

Don’t do it! Sacrifice another more common caliber.

                      Yes, sell the 30-06.

It won't do anything your 300 Win Mag won't do.

My experience with Ruger #1’s is they aren’t always accurate if this one is accurate and it is a rare/fairly rare caliber don’t let it go keep it. But then again I am hoping someone talks you into selling the 25/06 instead and I am quick enough on the draw.

I was thinking you should sell me the 45-70.
