I'm assuming the thought process is with a 4wheeler or UTV his leg wouldn't have been hit? The issue here is the survival reaction to go full throttle, look and drive right where you don't want to go. Happens to folks new to any powered item, seems more impactful the less wheels. Huge issues on motorcycles.
Yeah that was just really bad timing. Had she of been just a little later wrecking the 3 wheeler she would have been fine aside from some minor injuries. It threw her right out in front of it. She sat up right as it drove over her.
Glad he’s OK, but I’m not sure the 3 wheeler is to blame for hitting a telephone pole. I’ve wrecked 3 wheelers about every way you can wreck one and every single time it was my fault or the fault of a buddy who bet me I couldn’t do something.[emoji4]

This. I’ve owned a bunch of 3 wheelers and the few times I have wrecked them was absolutely my fault.
Borrowed a buddy's 3 wheeler once. I was riding across a slope, put a foot down to stay balanced and the back tire rode up my leg. I wasn't injured but It taught me how to ride a 3 wheeler on a slope.
Yep, death traps. We use to ride ours all day long. Skid up to the back of the barn, syphon gas from my Grandmas 67' Impala; get a drink from the hose in the horse trough and take off again. It's a wonder we are still here.
I have a former leasemate who as a young personal injury attorney in the late 80's made a lot of money representing injured clients in suits against Honda. Honda eventually decided just to settle them all. It didn't help their cause when video was leaked showing out takes from filming Honda's 3 wheeler commercials and even professional motorcycle riders were crashing and flipping them
