I get some of Texas had snow recently, but its been a very mild winter and this coming week is in the 70's around the Huntsville area.
Hopefully not until we get some rain. Waco is so low you cant get close to the rivers by boat right now.

Bring it buddy! I missed that smoked fish dip last year when I had to miss the fork get together! Not missing this one, our room is booked

                What's a crappie?

Man I haven't caught any in so long it isn't funny. it isn't from lack of trying, its from lack of going.

Between son off to college out of state now and work schedule, open weekends are not very common. It's hard enough to just get a weekend to go hunting, and then throw some honey-doo's in there, and it gets worse.

I AM planning to go to Rayburn in March though. These guys that work for me bust their butts so I am taking them up there for the weekend. If we catch any it will be a bonus, if not, who cares. We got out of the office ad had a good time!

Where I messed up was not marking brush piles on the Lowrance at all the previous bass trips and tournaments on the various lakes I fished with my boy in the winter and summers over the last several years........that I definitely regret.

I found a few yesterday on Conroe. I’m still learning my graphics, lake, and white perch..., but they were at 10’ and 2/4 had eggs...

I had the famous Larry and Tim on LOP today and it was brutal.
25 to 30 mile an hour winds made fishing almost silly.
They managed 8 or 10 fish but it really was an awful day to be on the lake

I havent been in a while, missing it but have something potentially big ( to me ) in the works so fishing has to wait for now.

What a difference a day makes.
We beat them up pretty good on LOP this morning with a bunch of fish over 2 pounds

No standing timber in the creek channel
